I wear scrub tops. I am working on getting a piece of plastic to fill my pocket because this clip with the 2 keys and 2 badges, pulls on my pocket significantly. It does hold the keys up (the cord is not exposed unless pulled on). Ideally Id like to be able to adjust the tension on the pull though. Not everyone has 20 keys on their pulley. Good quality.

I work outdoors in all weather conditions in Texas. I require a badge to access a number of locations and constantly had issues with clip on badge holders coming off, getting caught or breaking.This has been wonderful. It's absolutely heavy duty and I have zero fear of it breaking.My only real complaint is the nice metal grey coating didn't take long to begin wearing off and exposing an ugly copper color underneath, tarnishing an otherwise great product.

The clip and square are definitely going to be a sturdy and functional piece for a long time. the rubber holder for the badge may not be a long term piece but it fits well and holds tightly when I am constantly pulling on the badge to scan in to places in the hospital. Ive gotten quite a few badge reels, and this one is my favorite so far. The verdict is still out on the durability, but I have been using mine for a month. I work at a hospital in IT, so I am all over the place badging through doors and into different workstations. All I've had before were plastic retractable holders. Those strings would snap or the plastic badge clipping would wear down and break over time. This badge holder is as sturdy and strong as described. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 is because it is very heavy and the clip is too wide to attach to most lanyards so you can wear it around your neck. I often wear dresses and/or clothes without pockets or belt loops, so the lanyard allows me to wear my work badge with all of my outfits. The only way I could get a lanyard to work with this badge holder was to remove the keyring, slip it under the clip and then clip the lanyard

The badge reels are super sturdy. Feels like they will last forever. But they are too heavy. No matter where I wear them, they pull my scrubs down and cause the neck line to look strange. I wish I could use them.

We use for our bages at work, we would buy the large pack from staples and go through 2 a month. I have had this one for almost a year ,I have to keep ordering them the people who come to visit from our corporate office see them and want one. This is the best retractable one on the market.

I’ve been looking for a durable and sturdy badge reel that would hold up to multiple extensions per shift without popping off my uniform or breaking when dropped. I was hesitant on this product as I was worried about its weight, however, it did not take long to get used to. I would recommend wearing this on a belt or at the v-neck of a scrub top. Avoid if you typically wear a badge clipped on to a thin shirt/top pocket.

Its pretty heavy duty. Just keep in mind that its metal so be careful when tossing it. I destroy the plastic ones all the time and this looks like it will hold up better. It also has a short line so if you have to swipe your card high you have three options. Stand on your toes, unclip it to swipe or grow taller.

I’ve had so many of the other kinds out there that break. These have a coated metal wire, not a string. It has a comfortable weight to it. The cord is long and the recoiling springs has enough zip to it to quickly pull it in. A good feature also is the badge closure plastic piece. It’s got a larger point you pass through the hole so it stays better and the plastic is soft nylon like so it’s durable as well. I’ve had it about a year no issues.
