Review on SleepRight Secure Comfort Dental Guard by Biswaroop Hawkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Extremely effective, seems expensive until you compare it to custom night guards and expensive dental work. Takes a long time.

I found out relatively late that I clench my teeth at night. Indeed very difficult. I don't grind them so my wife didn't know. The vigilant dentist asked me if I grind my teeth at night, I said no, then he asked a series of clarifying questions and it turned out that I wasn't grinding my teeth but clenching them. This leads to serious health problems like receding gums, headaches, and literally cracked teeth from stress. I had to remove ONE front tooth, it couldn't be saved, and the implant cost $5,000 out of my own pocket and visits to 3 different specialists. around. Endodontist, my regular dentist (she's really good) and oral surgeon. It took a year of visits to fix everything. With any luck, a crown instead of a new tooth is only $800, and I had to get several of these. So now I am asking all my relatives if they have the same symptoms and some of them have. I recommended Sleep Right as my first choice and even bought it from Revain for my daughter. I tried a custom bite guard that cost $400 and didn't work very well. I think it actually put more pressure on the tooth which eventually caved in to the root. I've tried athletic shin guards that worked well but were uncomfortable. Finally, I tried Sleep Right, which doesn't seem to cost enough to be effective, but it's absolutely my go-to choice and works great. Now I don't go to bed without it and it has saved me a lot of morning headaches and protected my remaining teeth and my now very expensive front tooth. It is very comfortable, adapts to any mouth size and bite angle and stays in place. So, in the romance department, it's a little uncomfortable, but it's discreet and not as uncomfortable as a custom mouthguard. Haven't worn one yet, although I've managed to lose one. They are very durable and easy to clean. I just scrub them with a toothbrush in the morning and occasionally gargle with peroxide. If you have bruxism (nighttime grinding), do it now before you have to spend as much money as I have to fix the damage.
