It is very comfortable, adapts to any mouth size and bite angle and stays in place. So, in the romance department, it's a little uncomfortable, but it's discreet and not as uncomfortable as a custom mouthguard. Haven't worn one yet, although I've managed to lose one. They are very durable and easy to clean. I just scrub them with a toothbrush in the morning and occasionally gargle with peroxide.
