Sturdy, thick and not brittle
Used them to make demijohn lamps and they work well for my project. The opening of my jar is less than 2 inches so the cork is just right to hold the lamp assembly tight. I had to drill a hole for mounting, and the cork was thick all over and not brittle at all. I used two and both were of the same quality. would recommend.
