Review on Acorn Kids Easy Bootie Slippers - Boys' Boots Shoes by Michael Radhakrishnan

I bought these shoes for my 18 month old grandson who wears a size 5 and is almost ready for a size 6 shoe. They fit very well, maybe with some wiggle room, so they should fit him this winter season and they'll keep his feet warm. They are very well made and well padded on all sides, including the soles. The soles are made of non-slip material, but the first time I put them on him, he ran into the kitchen, slipped on the tile floor, and landed on his croup. This was the only time this happened. Since then he's been wearing them all day, even when he's taking a nap, so they must be comfortable. He was often ready to remove his shoes when entering the house, but he lives in this one! I was planning on keeping the slippers here at my house so he can change when he comes to visit but still have snuggly booties. Well when my daughter saw them she said they would take them home because they fit so well and he was so comfortable in them. There is an elastic band around the gathered part at the ankle and I take a few extra seconds to put them on him so he doesn't twist his young ankles but once they're on they stay put and that was the problem, mine daughter had. she has tried it with several other couples. We think these are amazing slippers and would highly recommend them.
