Bosch Sport II 2-5/8" Tachometer (Black Dial & Bezel) by Actron SP0F000025 Review

Stop in three weeks. The Revain was good at sending out a replacement quickly, but it was still a hassle because it's wired through the car's firewall and the wires are hardwired to the tach at the factory, meaning there's no quick-disconnect wiring harness. The small size makes it a bit difficult to read, but a larger one would block my other sensors.

I was replacing my distributor in my Firebird so I also wanted to get an aftermarket tach for accuracy. First I bought a cheap digital touch but it was slow and inaccurate. This tachometer fits perfectly and works perfectly. The only thing I would like is a flat mount because it is only configured to mount on the steering column and is really visible.

Large size, easy to use and good features except. It doesn't work at all and I've checked my wiring 3 times and made sure everything is connected properly, even tried getting a new coil and still no signal. It lights up and everything, but it showed 0 rpm all the time, so I'm very disappointed. The worst thing is that I'm abroad and had to get DHL to send it to me so I paid twice the price of the sensor to get it here and it doesn't work. Very disappointed to be honest.

Great tactile feel. Easy to install - only 4 wires to connect. Installation was easy and the unit comes with everything you need. I put it on the right side of the dash hood. The touchscreen is clearly visible and does not interfere. Only criticism is that the tachometer doesn't glow very brightly at night. I solved this problem by replacing the standard bulb with a green LED. Now it's the same green color as my speedometer and fuel gauge and I can read it at night. I used this LED: Partsam 10x

I installed this on my VW Camper Van and it was a great fitment. The face is small enough to fit between the A-pillar and the dashboard. It was well connected and very understandable.
