Description of Aqara Smart Plug

With an internet connection on your smartphone, you can control your home appliances from anywhere, no matter where you are. And if you have the Aqara main control unit and sensors, you have the opportunity to set certain scenarios for using a smart plug. For example, before leaving work, you can remotely start the multicooker using your smartphone, turn on the light in the hallway, air purifier or water heater, so that when you return home after a hard day''s work, you can immediately plunge into the atmosphere of warmth and comfort. You no longer have to worry about unplugged electrical appliances when leaving the house. With the Aqara Home application, you can check the status of the connected appliance at any time and manage its power supply. This will not only reduce energy consumption and ensure safety, but also increase the level of comfort in your life. The timer function not only reduces energy consumption, which has a positive effect on the environment, but also makes the use of household appliances even more convenient, while extending their service life. For example, you can set a timer for the device to turn off automatically after you leave for work and turn on half an hour before you return home, ensuring a comfortable temperature when you are at home. The body of the socket is made of fire-resistant material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 750°C. The socket has a built-in temperature sensor that monitors the operation of high-power devices and controls the internal temperature of the socket, and sends a notification to the user when the temperature rises significantly. When overheating, the outlet will automatically cut off the power supply to prevent fire and damage.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

You can safely take it on the market / take it with discounts if you are not alien to a stable automated home using zegbee2mqtt.

Pros
  • Works great in z2m. I use whistle CC2538+CC2592, IoT - Iobroker. I do not use any Chinese, European and other hubs, only directly with the maximum response speed. Zigby receives a control signal for on / off, as well as the current consumption. There were no failures and losses for a month and a half. Naturally, it can work in repeater mode.
Cons
  • Price in stores for overprice

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

If you are familiar with a solid automated home that uses zegbee2mqtt, you can take it off the market or get discounts without risk.

Pros
  • Fantastic in z2m. Whistle CC2538+CC2592, IoT - Iobroker is what I use. I exclusively use direct connections with the fastest reaction times; I don't use any Chinese, European, or other hubs. A control signal for on/off and the amount of electricity used are sent to Zigby. For a month and a half, there were no failures or losses. It can, of course, operate in repeater mode.
Cons
  • Priced excessively in stores

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I chose this solution to implement a specific function and not to participate in dances with a tambourine in the form of region changes and compatibility. Has pros: Stylish execution from packaging to the product itself. Works as stated. I put it on the convector, coupled with the Aqara Hub and a temperature sensor, it performs the specified on / off modes at the specified temperatures. Everything is perfectly seen and controlled in the native Aqara Home application, as well as by voice through

Got pros: You need a hub to work. Easily fed automation with devices from Aqara. Works with Alice. A convenient way to display information about the power consumption of the connected device. With its cons: It is not convenient to provide information about the energy expended, only graphs . There is no way to install the application on a PC, current mobile phone .

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Maintains its reliability even while operating in low-voltage environments, such as those found in a cottage network. Power fluctuates between 170 and 240 volts. Convectors, often known as heaters, have had five new control and management components installed.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

I want to share my impressions of buying this outlet, we chose for a long time, in the end we chose this model, and also purchased the Aqara Smart Hub base for it. The base creates a smart environment, you can connect a lot of things, and at night it works like a lamp. The socket itself can be connected to any socket and controlled using a smartphone. It protects against power surges and works on schedule. So the purchase is satisfied. The price is very reasonable for such quality.

Pros
  • Protects against power surges, controlled from a smartphone
Cons
  • found no flaws

Nice price, good quality.

An outlet on the Chinese hub of some early version, with the "mainland China" region, has earned; for 2022, the process of adding was reset all the time. In the region "China" there is no such outlet in the list of available ones, but I chose a similar one and everything connected. With its pros: I bought for a fumigator. I can't imagine other scenarios. With its cons: 1. 200 percent markup? Ikea sold theirs for 800, others are not more expensive. Premium for packaging in the style of an apple…

The product does not match the description, poor quality.

Rated 2 because I couldn't use it. The socket is connected to the application both through passive detection, and if you select the Mi Zigbee socket. But in both cases the plugin does not work. Accordingly, either the House or Aqara Home with all the ensuing restrictions. This behavior is rather strange, since the socket is officially sold in 2022 and the application supports both the Aqara hub itself and a bunch of sensors of the same name. I hope this is a software glitch and it will be…

Pros
  • Relatively compact. Good build quality.
Cons
  • Doesn't work in mihome. Aqara hub sees it and connects it, but the plugin doesn't work and you can't manage it.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

It was purchased at the dacha for use with a pump, to turn it off in case of a leak, but for some reason it did not draw 10A, although it is in the specification. Therefore, I use it as a repeater to expand coverage. Fortunately, all devices with a plug are zigbee repeaters. And it looks beautiful, well made. Due to its design, it will not plug into a socket with a hinged cover.

Pros
  • Smart (Euro) socket. Can remotely turn ecosystem devices on and off.
Cons
  • Did not pull the declared load.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

It works with Station 2 without a hub, since Station 2 has a built-in Zigbee hub. But at the same time, either I didn’t figure it out, or the device will only be added to the smart home application from until you buy a hub from Acar. Who does not have a hub but has Station 2, it works! Has some pros: - Build quality - Zigbee - Work with Station 2 without a hub ( Station 2 has a built-in Zigbee hub) Different cons: If there is only Station 2, without the Aqara hub, the socket is limited to…

They gave me a set of sockets and a control unit for my birthday :) We started using this whole thing for its intended purpose and realized that it was high time to get a "smart home" system :) They say that all life is in the phone in our time, and now it's exactly like that :)) All switching on and off happens conveniently and remotely. We will buy the rest of the sockets in the house in the future :)

Pros
  • Beautiful, good materials
Cons
  • Did not find

I bought a pair of sockets for 2090 on sale from a supplier. Expensive, of course, but in conjunction with temperature sensors, it has become a necessity to control a comfortable climate in the bedroom and office in the conditions of our "hospitable and warm spring of 2022"))). I am extremely satisfied with the purchase, the packaging and delivery of is beyond praise - everything came safe and sound (delivery through a branded parcel locker in a store near the house). I will order more, but as

Pros
  • The design of the socket, one might say, is ideal: a European standard with grounding, round, without unnecessary protrusions, not as big as other sockets, and at the same time it accommodates all the declared functionality. Inside there are protective curtains from small children. The quality of materials is excellent. Pairing with a smart home from Alice occurs without problems at a distance of about 10 meters through 2 walls in a straight line. Inside is a mechanical relay, not a solid state one. Without a Zigbee hub, the socket can be turned on and off with a button on it, there is a status indicator. According to the description, there are load monitoring functions and a memory of the last state after a shutdown - I have not set it up yet, but in some cases it is useful.
Cons
  • The price of 2990, in my opinion, is high for such a device. After all, this is not a small household appliance designed to solve several tasks within the framework of its functionality, but just an equipment on / off device. For me, the price of 1000-1500 is the very edge for such devices. The power of 2300 watts covers most of the needs for switching home devices, however, some equipment (for example, a microwave, a slow cooker, a grill, a washing machine) can no longer be connected through it, which is very useful when you need to de-energize everything quickly and guaranteed when leaving home. I would like to have a device with a current carrying capacity of 16 amperes. I just started to master the topic of smart home along with a new station from of the second version. In the proprietary application "House with Alice" a number of functions are not available, such as monitoring the load and setting the memory of the last state of the outlet - I will try to reach the functions through other applications.

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Pros: It is clearly and easily prescribed both in native Aqara and in  Home. You can monitor consumption, it is convenient to create automation. Thing! Got cons: There is none of them. Except for only one thing: a little more compact would be the dimensions .
