I have only used 2 sleeves to reinforce a MacBook power adapter cord. The largest size in this package was the perfect diameter. It shrunk down fully to the wire end as well as the wire itself. The adhesive is evident. If you are going to do something similar, I would recommend trimming the length of the sleeve in half as the pre-cut length is much longer than needed for a power adapter cord on a MacBook or cell phone.

Works great, shrinks nice, length is good when spanning longer stretches, love the internal glue adds better adhesion, nice price and nice case for storage.

Looking for these for a while local no luck. Stores would tell me they never heard of these glue filled ones. I like these because that are great, glue is strong and sticks on very well at the same time of you mess up it comes off nicely when cut right. Like wall strips, strong holds well but removing it can be just as easy if needed. I used stronger ones from work and it’s almost impossible to save the wiring if you cut it to short. As a retired automotive repair technician, I am pretty anal when it comes to electrical repairs. I believe in doing it ONCE for the lifetime of the wire being repaired. The only way to ensure this is to provide a WATERPROOF connection. This shrink tubing is exactly the same as the tubing I used professionally. This is a nice kit, but I would have preferred uncut lengths equating the same material. I use a similar product in a much larger size that comes rolled in a plastic bag--a much better idea. Sometimes you need more--sometimes less. It's nice to cut off exactly what you need from a roll. While the case is nice, it is unnecessary for my needs and takes up much more space than a plastic bag. But because these are pre-cut, the case is necessary to keep the pieces organized. Great product. I do a lot of automotive wiring repairs. I always solder my connections and use heat shrink. the "hot glue" that lines the inside of this product helps prevent corrosion from moisture and the shrink ratio is great. the only thing I wish that I could buy is a assortment of the smaller sizes. most of this assortment is way bigger than I can use for my needs. as far as the product it's self 5 Stars all the way around!

This is exactly what I needed to finish off the wiring job on my aftermarket radio install. They were pre-cut to perfect length for soldering wires together. It was very easy to shrink down with a heat gun and the glue would start to come out the ends to let me know when it was "done cooking". I can be sure the solder joints will outlast my car.

They don't make electrical cords like they used to so this kit helps make the inevitable repairs reliable and safe. Besides, refineries, mines and many businesses we rent to won't accept tools with cords having electrical tape repairs. I have enough things to be safety conscious about without having electrical fires or electrocution being one of them.

Mine came as described with adhesive. The latches on the little box they came in were broken, but for me they sit in a toolbox so it wasn't a problem. I used the heat-shrink on auxiliary light wiring and they worked great. Another nice thing is they come long enough to cut into smaller sections if needed.

I was originally buying this kit simply to repair small power cables like micro USB but now that I have it I can see that all of the sleeve tubes are too small. I was able to fix the end of a headphone jack (3.5mm) but the biggest sleeves wouldn't fit over the heads of the larger cords. I really needed a larger tube variety for the jobs I was doing. Meh.

I love the 3:1 shrinking of these and the adhesive makes them a perfect choice for anyone needing to protect wire connections. These are waterproof, thick and strong. Perfect for someone working on an off grid solar array/ solar system like me. I will be purchasing more of these to keep in my electrical kit.

The heatshrink comes with a thick wall, shrink it 1/3 and it becomes thicker than a Mcdonald's beef patty!Jokes aside, very thick wall once shrunk, adhesive seems similar to hot glue, the tube holds its shape very well. I have used it on several phone cables including two frayed ones, which I can confirm still work after more than a month of daily abuse. The section where heatshrink is on is very solid and does not bend.

Too Many of the same (tiny) size. - Kit Has bins for more sizes. Many are the same tiny sizes. The kit lacks the most usable size of around 3/16" - 1/4". - Good value if complemented by another kit to add these sizes. - Interesting - it does have a lot of large sizes. - Did the seller just have a surplus of tiny sizes?I had another kit from the same seller with ALL small sizes - which I returned.- A big plus - they are High quality - regarding the shrink ratio and the adhesive.

The cut lengths we're good. The larger 1/4" and over had a good amount of adhesive. Packaged well as advertised. May not be as versatile as other options.

These are absolutely the best shrink tubing that I ever bought. The sizes and quantities are great. I will definitely buy these from now on.

These are awesome. If you do not have access to solder or are lazy, these work great for holding thing together. As long as your connections wont get pulled around with daily use, you'll be fine. I used to wire up turn signals on my Fatboy lo.

I re-wired our boat electrical systems last week using this heat shrink tubing, and it worked amazing. the tubing wall it thick, and the glue seals very well. I plan to use it next on my 69 F250, that I am completly re-wiring, one wire at a time, but this heat shrink tubing will make it much easier.
