Bought for a factory look. This assembly fits perfectly in place of the factory trunk handle. The included video cable was more than long enough to run from the back door down the frame and through the front firewall to the back of my stereo. This was installed on my 2008 Crew Cab Short Bed 1500. My main unit is an aftermarket Kenwood double din. I had to lengthen the power and ground wires because I wanted them to connect to the engine bay and cab, but that was my personal preference. Power cables easily connect to reversing lights and ground without extension cords. The video stream is quite sharp, but not the best. I have included images that show the image both during the day and at night (no additional lighting). The real handle feels a bit flimsy than the factory handle, but it still opens the tailgate just fine. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.
