Let's keep it simple: I installed it on my 2001 Sierra 1500HD. They fit perfectly, fitting snugly into the factory seat belts and into the factory bumper openings (looked odd but fitted securely). They are sometimes brighter than old incandescent bulbs. They have a clear white light. They cost about the same as the old parts store incandescent bulbs, but last much longer and have a brighter, clearer light. Easy choice.
