Review on πŸ”§ CTSC Brake Seat for Foot Line by Dan Dickey

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Lots of fun for little money

Everything you need is in the box. Pretty easy to set up. lasted about an hour. I bought a 95 foot kit and found a couple of trees growing 87 feet apart on a gentle slope. I had to change the recommended setting as my starting point was a large diameter tree that required the main line to run around the perimeter and be secured with the three supplied U-cleats. Help is recommended in the instructions, but I used some ladders to hang the rope, not people to use the brooms as suggested. This made final tightening easier, but I would recommend two people do this. I feel completely safe with my kids using it as I was able to follow a gradual incline in the yard that was 4ft below the starting point; that's 10 feet. Don't worry as the seating area is about 4 feet below the line and the launch platform I built is about 6 feet off the ground. But if I didn't have a 4 foot tip, the launch point would be 4 feet higher, and I know my wife wouldn't accept an 8 foot launch with hands on the bars at 14 feet in the air.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weight
