Avanchy Toddler Feeding Plate Bamboo Review

I love this bamboo plate! Great baffles, fantastic suction and a great green alternative to plastic plates. Reading other reviews that it doesn't hold up over time I just have to say take care of it. Don't leave it in the water or sink and remove the suction ring every time you wash it.

3 stars because I like the design and look of this shell but it doesn't stick to our high chair. It is easy to clean and the quality is fine. My kids love to chew on a spoon. My girls are 8 months old and they can't get the bowl out when it sucks but somehow the bowl pops out when feeding. I just slide it back down.

I bought from Bamboo Bamboo but decided to give this company a try. The suction power is much better. I almost thought he wasn't going to come off, but he tongued easily. I rub the panels with some coconut oil once a month, hand wash only, and they hold up well. It also makes food photos more attractive. I love this brand very much and have already bought another plate. I want all colors. I especially love black. Don't be put off by the price, it's high quality.

Overall great product. However, I only gave 3 stars because the suction power is not that good. My recent 1 year old has been able to pick it up on many occasions. That was even after I made sure the tongue was out of reach and made sure it was stuck to the tray of her high chair. I tried it without water and with water to see if it would help with suction and either way I got the same result. I also tried putting one side in front of the other. I love this bamboo plate. It has enough food for my 13 month old and the included spoon is good although we won't be using it yet. I've tried suction cups before and they always work, this one is no different. The only thing I would like to say about this suction cup is that it's harder for my son to pull it up and I think that's because the plate itself is heavier. I've noticed that it also pops up on its own, but doesn't go away entirely. I have a white Ikea high chair and it fits perfectly…
