Would I buy again

I put this into service in my basement bathroom at the end of December 2020. Now the end of July 2021 is approaching. It still runs on the original battery, Monoprice Alkaline AA, which is still strong. It can make a little noise, if you put your ear to the back of the mechanism you'll hear a faint noise of gears, but otherwise it was quiet for me. He is just as strikingly handsome as Revane's photographs show. The smooth second hand took a little getting used to, it looks like a regular wall clock plugged into an outlet but it somehow looks more elegant and I fell in love with it quickly. It's accurate and beautiful. I recommend it.
