Review on SOLMIMI Extension Compatible Headphone Keyboard by Tom Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not perfect, but close.

Most people will buy the cheapest USB 3.0 extender as long as it works. First you will get copper aluminum alloy wires covered with PVC. Conductivity below nominal. Second, there is no protection against radio interference. The waves penetrate the plastic shell and cause transmission problems. There are other details that make this product different from the above:.1. PRICE: This was the cheapest 4 inch extension on the Revain website. I looked at the competition. Similarly, designs were valued at +1$ or more.2. SHIELDING: Aluminum foil reliably protects copper wires from interference. This brand is "overkill". It offers a second layer of aluminum foil. This guarantees error-free transmission.3. DURABILITY: First, the braided nylon sleeve protects the internal cables and shields from wear and tear. Second, there is a second PVC sleeve that covers the connection between the connector and the cable. It is very important. Experience has shown that almost all breaks and cable breaks occur at this point due to constant kinking during use. The double PVC sleeve eliminates this common mistake.4. WARRANTY: One year warranty. Such items have 30 days or not.5. REAL COPPER WIRES: Copper is the most conductive metal, twice as good as aluminum. In any case, it's also better than the copper-aluminum alloy wires used in competing brands. The plug was my only problem. Most quality cables used "gold plating" to ensure maximum electrical conductivity. This used the standard "nickel plating" used in cheaper designs. Despite this shortcoming, there were no performance issues. The extension works as expected.
