Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Inateck Surface Pro 7 Keyboard: Enhanced Typing Experience with Bluetooth 5.0 and 7-Color Backlight - Compatible with Surface Pro 7/7+/6/5/4, KB02026 Black by Adam Alvarez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good keyboard, decent trackpad, schematic lighting is very bright. Highlighted.

Pros: Backlit battery life is good Backlit for low light operation Key feel is surprisingly good (I expected them to suck, but it's not bad at all) USB charging Works with or without the Surface connector - I use it ALWAYS separate for now - I wish the Microsoft version was BT, but it isn't. Bad: USB charges via Micro-USB, not USB-C Backlight uneven Backlight under keys Touchpad is decent but not great, it works but is less sensitive than the Microsoft version. Battery life with the backlight on is poor. All of these issues are minor, none of which are deal breaker. One feature I would really like to have is the ability to connect multiple BT devices. I have many BT keyboards and all but this one allow you to connect to and switch between multiple BT devices. Computer, phone, tablet, camera, TV, etc. If there's one thing that can be improved, it's the ability to connect multiple devices. I know it's a dedicated Surface keyboard, which is fine, but I usually have a Surface Go2 on the go, this keyboard, and a few other devices. Since this keyboard travels with me, it would be amazingly helpful if I could use it more often.

Pros
  • False Touch Proof - The touchpad is larger than comparable keyboards. Its anti-false touch feature saves you the worry of accidentally touching the touchpad.
Cons
  • Legacy model
