Run for 10 minutes then died
Installed 5.0 on my project. Looks great, appears to be good quality. Well, he worked for about 10 minutes and died. I installed a new ignition at the same time so I spent hours troubleshooting. I put my old distributor back in and booted it up. Went back to MSD and died again, went back to the old bike and worked fine. It seems that MSD TFI died within 10 minutes after installation. I had to buy a new TFI motorcraft for over $100 to replace the MSD TFI junk dealer.
