I've been using these types of water pouches for a long time for their versatility and they rarely let me down. These particular bags are right there, along with the much more expensive branded bags I've bought in the past. The key to finding good bags is to make sure the plastic/PVC isn't too flimsy and that the seams are properly taped. These bags both hit the mark. The welds are strong and the carrying handles are comfortable to the touch. I wouldn't want to use the handles for long-term storage or long-distance carrying because they weigh down the rest of the bag, but they're comfortable enough for short periods of time. As mentioned, the lids are a bit tricky due to the locking mechanism, but you'll figure it out yourself. You can use them as reusable and potable ice packs in an ice box, emergency water storage, water caches along the trail, or as an easy way to bring drinking water to a picnic or birthday party at the park. You are really great.
