Overpriced Disappointing

If you are looking for a desk or bedside tray, don't waste your money on this model. If you want the bedside table to actually be used, look elsewhere as this model is very cheap and lacks functionality. As you can see from the pictures, the center hinge includes a screw and bolt. There are a few issues with this: 1) The screw was over-tightened, to the point where even attempting to open the compartment caused stress throughout the fold, causing the metal sides to buckle inward with the slightest effort. 2) The screw used to secure the center hinge was too long causing the two halves to be misaligned as it cut into the metal bars along the bottom of the fold. 3) The actual hinges that the screw goes through were angled outwards which caused the metal side panels to deform even more than a tight hinge would result in the device not being able to lock due to the deformation of the two halves . I wasn't even able to fully open this compartment due to the high risk of the end hinge fully locking and deforming the sides. I am very disappointed with the poor craftsmanship and design of this product. For almost $30 I swear I could get a functional product. This model looks extremely cheap and is made from cheap metals and it is quite obvious that there was a lack of proper quality control measures in the manufacturing process. Simply put, the price of this product is unreasonably high. Want to know what works even better? Reverse Cardboard. Don't repeat my mistake by wasting money on this disappointment.
