I ordered these shorts to wear at home and work out at home. Arrived well packaged in plastic packaging. Right out of the box I thought they might be a bit short for me, but they aren't. I've tried them on and even with my wider lower body, they're still an inch below my butt. I wouldn't say they are mid-thigh because they are shorter, but for me they are long enough for my comfort. Gray is a beautiful silvery shade, as in the photo. The fabric is smooth and dense so that it doesn't show through, but doesn't get hot even in shorts. They share an average weight. The waist is the same as the photo and fits exactly - average height for me is just below my belly button. It stretches well and doesn't pinch anywhere, neither in the waist nor on the hips. The price is fair for the quality you get and I would consider buying more pairs.
