Review on ๐Ÿš˜ Dorman 955-404 Saturn Mirror: Passenger Side Manual Door Mirror for Select Models by Leroy Jacobs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The dealer charged over $400 for a replacement.

When I banged the mirror while taking out the trash and it fell off, of course I was a bit upset. Stubbornness appeared, I bought a strong tape and drove on the mirror with a glued tape. Eventually, I realized that this gaudy approach didn't sit well with me, and that it was quite a pain to hold the band on my own. I set out to get the job done for less than $200. Little did I know I would finish the job for less than $80. If I knew the socket size required I could make it for less than $50. If you already have metric sockets, this is easy. Nothing more than the cost of a mirror and a few minutes of your time. I'm not sure if they're all the same, but my 2000 Saturn SL2 needed a 10mm head (long enough to climb over a protruding bolt). mistakenly spent $50 on tools and it took 3 trips to the hardware store to figure it out. live and learn After all, it was made for less than $80 and a little time. I could repeat it for no more than the cost of a mirror and 10 minutes. A mirror of equal or possibly better quality than the originals. Very satisfied.
