Bought these because of the thick rubber with full toe coverage as my son constantly wears out his toes from driving the plasma car at school. This is our second pair. Lasts longer than rubber on Keen shoes. There's a certain aspect to Plasmacar that just rips through his boots. The shoes have nothing to do with it - they are of high quality. Just like my son uses them.
