Pioneer Photo Albums DA-200SF/BLK 4x6 Black Pocket Photo Album with Sewn Leatherette Frame Cover Review

This album is very well made and I was happy to find a sturdy album that could hold 200 photos. I bought one first and was so pleased that I ordered two more. Good value for money, I recommend it to anyone who needs a good photo album.

Good size and weight. Definitely not skinny. Comes with a sturdy plastic lid which I assume is meant to protect the lid but looks good enough to keep for a long time. The space for notes is a plus. No problem with liquid ink on thick paper. The front panel needs some work. It's just a plastic cover.

This is the worst and most disappointing photo album I have ever bought! The album was supposed to contain 4x6 photos and I ordered 3.5x5 photos (they are smaller so it shouldn't even be a problem!) and they don't fit! The pages are re-inserted so there is so little room to fit a photo that I'm struggling to fit a 3.5 x 5 photo in my bag and some of them are torn! So frustrating! I'm glad I didn't get a 4x6 photo. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for the album.

My fault. I didn't rip it out of the box and quickly put my photos inside. I bought it in February and in June I decided to put a photo in it. There is an adhesive stripe at the top and bottom with a half stripe down the middle while the side is white. Where the stickiness has peeled off in these three places, the cello's transparent cover has white stripes on each side. Because of this, the transparent cello side does not hold the photos in place. TL:DR: It's really okay. I mean it's surprisingly hard to find a neutral looking pocket photo album unless I'm really looking in the wrong places. The leather and stitching aren't too bad unless you look closely enough. The bags hold images fairly well provided the image proportions are within the 4x6' or 4x4' regulations. You can fit two 4x6 photos per side or a slightly larger photo vertically, one per side. from the inside edge, making photos less likely to wobble and fall out. It has space for some notes. It has a durable plastic coating on the outside, and the material that makes up the case itself seems to be quite durable. my black one I'll most likely leave the plastic cover on, but you can remove it if you'd like.
