I bought this for the additional size and the no slip advertising. My hands get very sweaty when doing my circuit exercises. What I found is that it is definitely better than my old yoga mat but when my hands have sweat on them, my hands to slip on this mat too. However, having said that, the ribbing does help and because it is wider, I cam more easily reposition my hands to a "dry" spot. It is very cushy too. Would recommend - very great value.

This thing is massive! My four year old will sometimes lay down at one end while I work out! I do yoga and Pilates on my hard wood floor in the basement. Haven't used it much but product is as advertised. Demensions as listed, and does not smell. The only thing to know if it matters to you is that the product is made in China.

This may is very comfortable. I like the extra width as well. Also, the mesh bag that is included is big enough to hold the mat. Often bags only hold the item when it is the size as rolled in the factory. There is also a smaller stretch band that you can use to keep it rolled up after use. It is a quality item.

I wanted a larger, thicker yoga mat for our home gym and this fits the bill. Our dog nails do mar it. but that is because it is soft, which is what I wanted.

This is the third day I had this mat. This is my first yoga mat and I have to say I am a little disappointed. The mat started to wrinkle after a two days of rolling it back into its carrying bag. The bag itself is already deteriorating as you can see it fraying in the image. Other than these two problems, it is very comfortable to exercise and practice yoga on. It does not move at all. I am not sure if I would recommend paying this much for a mat and a useless carrying bag.

This is the only yoga mat that I have ever purchased & I don’t think I could be happier with it. I’m a heavy set girl & have hardwood floors…so finding a thick mat that would support my weight was very important. I am tall so the longer length is great. I have a bad knee. The thickness allows me to kneel without much discomfort. I was concerned about the weight but that is not a problem. It's light with the carrying case.
