I'm 5'6" 130 lbs and the small size was too big for me, I had to cut off about 2" from the bottom because it was so long. It's not tight at all, it's better to use it as a 2nd layer. I didn't find it as soft as the other merino wool shirt I have, it's a lot thinner.
