Not for shorter shins.

I bought these to help with shin splints, calf pain and recovery during and after running. Due to my calf circumference size of 17”, I ordered the L/XL. Compression wise these were great. However, I’m only 5’4” and have a shin length of only 12” for what a sleeve is to cover. These measure 14” in length at their shortest. I ended up with creases in the material and had to fold the ends due to the length, which then made the bands uncomfortable. The excess length made them uncomfortable for me…

Pros
  • I wanted compression socks without the "sock". This is perfect! Probably need another pair!
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time

Great value in comparison to others.

I have had to wear compression on my right calf since I developed a DVT after an exercise injury. I have been wearing a Sigvaris 20-30 mm compression sleeve for years and because of the quality issues I've experience - not to mention the cost - decided based upon reviews here to give the Newzill brand a try.I have worn a Newzill sleeve several times now and I can attest they provide very good compression to those who really need it at a fraction of the cost of the leading name brand. They seem…

Pros
  • They are perfect for use in any weather condition, thanks to their breathable construction
Cons
  • May not provide enough compression for those with blood clots

Compression at a great price

I sometimes wear these during my run but more often I put them on either before or after. I'm 5'4" with a 15" calf and initially ordered the smaller size. It was so tight I wasn't sure it would come off! I contacted Newzill and they sent me the larger size at no cost. Much better! Still a little long for my short legs but I can take them on and off easier and still feel the compression. Great company, good product, good price.

Pros
  • The sleeves provide a non-invasive and effective way to ensure proper blood circulation
Cons
  • May not be wide enough for those with larger leg sizes

Very, very DIFFICULT to get OFF

The sleeves feel good when they are on but are very difficult to remove. They do not have enough "give" to remove them without straining while doing so. The heel is the problem. The flexibility of the sleeve is far too little to get them over the heel with ease. They would be much better if they were zippered!

Pros
  • Hand Wash Only
Cons
  • May not be able to be worn with certain footwear styles

Caused Itchy Skin - my new review

These seem to be will constructed, but after only 2hours of wear, the skin in my lower leg itched so bad I had to remove them. It you have had this problem with other compression socks in the past, this is not the answer. I do not know if it is the material or the ribbed construction.

Pros
  • They are extremely versatile, being suitable for a wide range of activities and conditions
Cons
  • May cause skin irritation in some individuals

Not ideal for short people

These arrived in good time, and are exactly as described. If you are a taller person/have longer legs, they're probably excellent. I, however, am short, so these sleeves are uncomfortably long. Of course, folding the top band over hurts because of the compression. I wore them an entire day annnnd I don't think I can wear them again. Whomp, whomp. So short folks, be aware!

Pros
  • For a xl the fit is small
Cons
  • Can cause blisters in some individuals

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not very easy to get on

Problem is my feet also swell, other compression socks squish my toes almost creating a pressure issue on one of my toes Can be difficult to put on without assistance!

Pros
  • Base Layers & Compression
Cons
  • Can be difficult to put on without assistance

What the Dr ordered

I learned I have bad veins. Dr ordered me to wear compression socks to help. I got these as the half foot ones bunched at the ankle. These have worked really well. My only dislike is they over compress at the ankle

Pros
  • SIZING CHART ★ UNISEX - WOMEN & MEN: Small/Medium Calf Circumference 10"-13.5" ; Large/X-Large Calf Circumference 13.5"-17" ; XX-Large Calf Circumference 17"-20.5" ★ ‘Buy Now’ to get your own pairs. We want you to LOVE Newzill Calf Compression Sleeves!
Cons
  • Can become uncomfortable if sweat builds up inside the sleeve

Real nice product - needed a smaller size

First time researching and ordering "Foot-less" compression socks, to find some vendors I can go to again, in the future. The quality of the NEWZILL sock is excellent. But I bought the wrong size, or their algorithm for sizes is different from other vendors. (A "large" with 2 other suppliers fits good; but the "large" with Newzill is just too big).I'll contact NZ and request an Exchange.Got the correct size, and LOVE how they go on/off & how they feel. Will buy more.

Pros
  • These are very comfortable and offer good compression. I would recommend
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with circulation issues

Great support good for me

Maintains support tightness after much use and many washings. Would suggest air drying only to maintain the quality. Perfect for someone who has history of shin splints.

Pros
  • Cloro was great just was a little tighter than I expected and was longer than expected
Cons
  • Can be difficult to wear with tight-fitting pants or leggings

Use Caution When Buying

Yes, I measured my calfs and bought the small. Bought too many at once, could not get them on only because I have problems with swelling in my feet, ankles, etc. So I opt on buying the larger size and I was able to get them on but they are longer and I had to roll them down a little bit. I'm 6'6", and yes, they were a little bit too long for my taste running slightly into the knew area. I don't need it coming up that high. The swelling went down on my left side so I went back and tried the…

Pros
  • Liked price. Did not like uncomfortable irritation on skin.
Cons
  • May not be durable enough to withstand frequent use

Easy on and off. good for me

These compression stockings are easier to put on and take off. I liked that I could wear opened toe shoes with them. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Edema hord to put on does bunch up going on Mens large slightly large once on comfortable
Cons
  • Can be difficult to put on for those with mobility issues

Best Compression Sleeves I Have Ever Owned

These compression sleves are just the best. They fit right and the compression is perfect. After receiving one pair and using them for a week, I purchased two additional pairs.

Pros
  • They feature a snug fit that provides excellent muscle compression, which helps increase blood flow and boosts athletic performance
Cons
  • May cause restricted movement in some individuals

Great Quality! good for me

10/10 recommend 20-30 mmHg compression socks for every day wear under your scrubs or work pants, as well as for exercising. They give you more energy and leave your legs feeling less tired at the end of the day, trust me you will feel a difference especially if you are susceptible to varicose veins. These help reduce or eliminate the pulsing and slight pain you get from your veins. I have tried several brands and these are excellent quality with stylish design options for a good price. They…

Pros
  • Compression Socks
Cons
  • May slide down during intense physical activity

Works great! in my review

I have neuropothy from medication and lower leg and ankle swelling due to a limb salvage surgery. I used compression socks that work well to keep the swelling down but can aggravate the neuropothy in my feet. I decided to try something different and ordered a few different calf sleeves to try and this one is one of the best. I have since ordered another pair because I have to wear them everyday. For me a game changer.

Pros
  • Easy on an eazy off. Like better than ones with toes.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to distinguish between right and left sleeve

Good for swelling from adema. Hard to get on.

My caregiver can change them. Can become comfortable depending on blood pressure. Was using coban, but this is less wastefull.

Pros
  • These feel great and look great.
Cons
  • May cause chafing or friction burns during prolonged use

Stays in place - my new review

I've used the calf sleeve for support while cycling. The sleeve stays in place and can hardly tell I'm wearing it. Requires special care (hand washing, air drying) that some may find inconvenient!

Pros
  • Work well
Cons
  • Requires special care (hand washing, air drying) that some may find inconvenient

My new bestie: my feedback

So I broke my leg and dislocated my ankle about a year ago and I'm starting to get back into jogging, but have experienced massive pain where the plate and screws are. These sleeves are super helpful and apply the right amount of pressure to help with the pain. My only issue is that they're really tight so it's difficult to take on and off, but once they're on, it's super comfortable.

Pros
  • SUITS YOUR ACTIVITY – The sleeves are beneficial for for running, hiking, martial arts, crossfit, volleyball, basketball, cycling, baseball, yoga, workouts or any fitness activities. Whether high or low or high impact, these enable you to warm up safely and recover quickly. The calf sleeves & socks are also perfect for everyday use especially while pregnant, for people in retail, air travel, jobs as a nurse or in construction that require a lot of standing on your feet. Or to cover up tattoos!
Cons
  • May not provide consistent compression throughout the calf area

Quality Is Comparable To The More Expensive Brands

I used to wear a higher grade compression calf sleeve; 30-40 mmHg, with approval from my doctor, I tried a lower grade; 2-0-30 mmHg. I was going to used the same brand as was used for the higher grade calf sleeves and came across the Newzill brand which offered a wide variety of colors and even designs for a reasonable price. I find that the Newzill calf sleeves are working out great; I did not experience any change in my legs as a result of using the lower grade and I am pleased with the way…

Pros
  • FEEL IT WORK – They are designed to fit naturally on your legs thus providing you support & stretch where needed. Whether you have aching calves, leg cramps, swelling or edema, shin splints, POTS or varicose / spider veins these sleeves allow you to train harder, recover faster & feel stronger. They help boost circulation in your legs & reduce muscle soreness for recovery afterwards. Try these & notice the improvement - you'll wish you had found ages ago!
Cons
  • Can be too tight for those with sensitive skin
