I'll start with how well the robe fits. I am 5ft 9 inches, 175 pounds, 36 inches waist, 44 inches chest and I have a large size. There's a lot of room on this thing. Pleasant, cuddly, like wrapping yourself in a heavy blanket. A little big but I don't want it to be any smaller, I'm 6ft 2in and it covers me completely.

I needed a robe to attend my first White Council meeting (Wizard, not the southern version), it was perfect. Warm, soft and, in my opinion, much more stylish than the silk garlands of stars and crescents favored by Merlin and Asian wizards. I just am not. Plus it's warm and I'm cold so win, win!

The hood is cut and sewn without taking into account the fact that the heads are ROUND. It slips off and hits right on the forehead. Should have been about 2 cm lower.

I ordered a maroon bathrobe for my son for Christmas. The robe was washed before wearing and came out of the dryer with snags and stains. It was worn once for about an hour and hung on anything that came close to it. The label says 100% cotton, no Turkish cotton, only cotton. Made in Turkey. It's heavy and beautiful, just don't wear it if you want it to stay that way. It feels rough, like terry cloth, and I'm afraid to wash it again as it might fall apart even more. I bought one of these for my husband a few years ago and then gave it to my adult son. The fabric quality is different. The first was thick cotton. The second seemed softer. In any case, both men really like their clothes. The hood fits snugly over the shoulders providing an extra layer of warmth without adding bulk and is great when worn over the head outdoors. Beautiful design with enough fabric to wrap around, long leg coverage and nice deep pockets.

It was to be a lavish birthday present. Straight out of the bag, without even trying it on, the robe had "bald spots" right next to where the bows were very long. If anyone understands sewing, looks like a coil tension problem. I sent the bathrobe back and ordered another one, the second one had the same problem. For $129.50, the consumer expects quality. Unfortunately the quality was not delivered.
