I bought these to help with shin splints, calf pain and recovery during and after running. Due to my calf circumference size of 17”, I ordered the L/XL. Compression wise these were great. However, I’m only 5’4” and have a shin length of only 12” for what a sleeve is to cover. These measure 14” in length at their shortest. I ended up with creases in the material and had to fold the ends due to the length, which then made the bands uncomfortable. The excess length made them uncomfortable for me to train in. I’m afraid that if I order the smaller size they will be too tight. The long length is my main reason for the fewer stars. If you are taller, these should be fine for you. I’ll be giving them to one of my taller friends to use.
