Review on TerraMaster D2 Duplicator External Enclosure by Gabe Evans

Uses a TerraMaster D2 clone SSD/hard disk duplicator as a standalone drive duplicator. Copied a 2.5" HDD to a 2.5" SSD in a few hours. Can also be used to house a drive or two when not cloning. There was a small problem with the LED and we contacted TerraMaster customer service. Several videos taken to show what's going on. A few days later we had the unit replaced and I sent the first D2 back to Revain. Excellent customer service! Duplicating drives for laptops can sometimes be tricky. The software is only as good as the connections. Free USB ports further complicate the task. Traditional discs can also be problematic. To avoid stress, irritation and hair loss, why not get TerraMaster D2 Cloner and clone those drives easily?!? The trays are plastic, which is good, there won't be a short circuit. Trays can be easily blocked and unblocked as needed. The fan pulls air out from the front of the case. Heat was never detected. The case is mainly made of metal for better cooling and has rubber feet on the bottom. Plenty of screws for 2.5" and 3.5" drives. Small enough to fit almost anywhere, even on a small tower computer. Also includes a USB-C to USB 3.0 cable. The guide will take you to an online guide showing you how to use the TerraMaster D2 Cloner, some with a video and manual to download. A friend told me that cloning a hard disk drive (HDD) to a solid state drive (SSD) might cause problems. Then I saw this apparition. Got it and got it done overnight. Replaced 2.5" HDD with 2.5" SSD. The drives have been swapped out and you now have a much faster and more responsive laptop. Definitely recommend this product!
