Review on AKG K72 Pro Audio Studio Headphones in Matte Black – Over-Ear, Closed-Back Design for Superior Sound by Eddie Rivas

I stumbled across these gems while looking for headphones for my budget turntable. They appeared in several reviews, and when they did, the reviewers were in awe of them. I was looking for a pair that would take me back to simpler times: the late 70's and the 1980's. when I went into my grandparents' basement and listened to my uncle's hi-fi system through headphones. I remember his vinyl with a warm, crisp sound. Allows me to hear every voice and instrument with complete clarity. Well, these headphones are damn close. The sound is really amazing, especially in this price range! Within seconds of hearing Elton John, I was transported to a different place and time. I could hear everything the track had to offer. While the fit is comfortable, I agree with others that the build quality feels "poor", but the sound quality makes up for it. Just treat them with care. I really like these headphones and others I've tried out of the water.
