I bought my Oster Classic 76 about five (5) years ago and this trimmer is still doing the job. I trim my hair at least once a week since I got these clippers and haven't had a single problem with it. I use the Oster blade (00000) that I buy with the trimmer and it still cuts my hair close to the scalp. To date I have never replaced a blade or serviced a clipper. What more could you ask for in a quality purchase. If you take care of them, they will last a very long time. One of the best and most reliable hair clippers you can buy.
