I love this retro rocket pin that is about 1.75 inches long from the tip of the rocket to the bottom of the flame coming out of the ground. I think it will be great for women interested in science, rockets, sci-fi, etc., as well as men or boys. This is secured with an attached pin located on the back. The pin is a shorter type of what I consider a safety pin, although the top doesn't snap, but it closes securely. I love the design and colors of this rocket needle. I would describe a muted grey-blue as the main colour. There are also red accents and white ones. It reminds me of mid-20th century ideas about what rockets looked like. My rating is 4 stars because although I really like it, there are some sloppy details on the picture where the white flame flows a bit into the blue edge, also there is a defect in the white part of the top of the rocket. . As it's quite small, maybe no one would look too closely when I was wearing it, but it forces me to deduct a star from my rating.
