🔲 Hape Quadrilla Wooden Construction Block Catcher Review

Catching and finding balls is something for birds. This product eliminates that completely! I don't know why the marble jetty we bought didn't include a collection bin, but it made a huge difference.

This marble catcher is the perfect addition to any quadrilla design. It pushes against the bottom exit block, catching the exiting bullet each time; spins it around the trap and announces that another ball has been caught. Very cute!

It would be nice if they went a little deeper around the base of the block - at least on one of them - some of the blocks shoot balls from both sides so they don't catch them all. It's also nice that not ALL balls fly everywhere.

Marble is no longer needed EVERYWHERE. We used to spread pool noodles around the room to barricade the balls. But this product works like a dream. I thought they would bounce, but they land right where they're supposed to! Pricey (in my opinion as we needed 4) but worth it in the end!

These add ons do exactly what they are supposed to do when used in conjunction with a Hape set and take the strain off our ears. Our son plays with his marbles on a train table with a rim around them so the marbles don't fall on the floor and fly everywhere, but they still made such a pop that we couldn't hear our own thoughts. This almost completely eliminates the noise. uhh.

These little marble catchers are the perfect addition to any Hape marble run. It's good if the balls don't roll everywhere. And for some reason I like the sound the balloons make when they hit the tray. To me, it's a really nice sound and not annoying at all. These little trays are so useful it would be nice if Hape included a couple with the purchase of a marble walkway. But that's just me. I would definitely buy them again.

I'm so glad I bought these a few years ago when they were square and wooden. Too bad they are now plastic. Part of what attracts me to Hape is that the toys are made out of wood. You can get plastic everywhere. Wood is something special. Also the sound the balls make when they hit wood is incredibly beautiful, I haven't heard those plastic balls but I can't imagine they sound better than the two tone sound of marbles hitting a wooden floor and then meet a wooden wall comes out labyrinth.

Exactly as described. Orange round marble traps that go well with Hape marble docks. Bought three sets of 2 traps each. I think Hape should include one in the marble run kits, but since it doesn't, it's an important addition to the article. Revain has the best price yet: less than ten dollars for two. I took off a star because they are plastic and I think they make an expensive wooden marble run cheaper. Unfortunately, if you want the original tree traps, you have to pay a premium. Otherwise…
