Review on ๐Ÿฒ Dragon Edition - Forged Dice Co Spellbook of Incantations: Card Holder & Deck of Dry Erase Cards with Velvet Storage Bag - Ideal Storage Solution for D&D Spell Book, Monster & Magic Item Cards by Nathan Ortiz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Handy spell keeper great for immersion and aesthetics

Firstly I love the design and color options of this book, the one I ordered looks the way it could be a book of shadows. It also feels sturdy but is thin enough not to be too bulky. The slots work well for spell cards, although they could be a little more shaped to prevent cards from slipping out, but that's only a minor issue as there's probably only 1/8"-1/4" of play. The case that the book came in is very nice, it can definitely be used as a dice case for those who don't already have a case for it. Blank spell cards are also a very nice addition, especially since the official spell cards only contain 5 blank ones. Here are a few criticisms I have for possible future designs: 1) I'd like the book to be a bit larger for easier page navigation. 2) The plastic envelopes could be slightly smaller to better match the official magic cards. 3) If the book could have had a clearer spine or maybe even small pagination rings instead of two handles and folds on both wings of the book. All in all it was a great purchase (I even gave one to a friend of mine) and I will definitely be buying more copies of this book. I would leave 4.5/5 but that's not an option.
