These lamps provide excellent lighting. In fact, the combined color of the two colors on the strip was so perfect for my application that we plugged them both in and didn't fiddle with the controller. When both strips are lit at full power, the bulbs are heating up. I added a dimmer (make sure you have a dimmable driver) and the heat issue is gone and there is still more than enough light. I bought the IP67 version of the product. The LEDs are located in a tube with a rectangular cross-sectional profile. Unfortunately, the glue on this tube doesn't hold the light in place. If you think it's a problem with the finish, another brand of LED strip runs parallel to this one and the other stays in place for weeks with no problems. My fixing pack came with clips but there aren't enough clips for the full length of the strip so I would advise looking for an alternative product if you find one adhesive will suffice for your installation. In the photo you can see the white LEDENET strip hanging down, to which the light brown strip is firmly attached. The large clip on the right is NOT included: These are small clear plastic clips. If you're not into soldering, note that the reel I received already had wires on both ends. I needed a third section and had to do a bit of soldering. As long as you can hit a small target accurately, this shouldn't be a problem. I'm not a soldering expert and was able to do this quite easily.
