We bought these holds after building an indoor climbing wall for our son. Based on lots of DIY tutorials, we pre-drilled holes and installed 3/8" T-nuts. The Metolius jars we put in there work great, but once we started screwing one of these in, we found that it was different.the size of the bolt (didn't fit a standard climbing wall t nut) and it actually ruined our wall by pulling it out.I should have read more carefully instead of assuming these grips were a standard size.excellent - no plastic great colors lots of different types of fixings I would say if you are using this to add to an existing wall they most likely will not fit If you use their exact specs to create your own wall these will work great.
