1) What is wrong with this list? If you look at the reviews/questions (which I unfortunately didn't do before buying) there are comments about flags, umbrellas and all sorts of other things that are definitely not fly repellent2) the electrodes are spaced far apart to reach anything but house flies. The fruit fly cannot touch both wires at the same time, which is necessary to disable it. 3) I put them next to a fruit basket which attracts a lot of mosquitoes/fruit flies. We also get a lot of house flies. The light doesn't really seem to attract anything. I would have sent it back for a refund but my wife threw away the packaging. Don't waste your $25.
