The lenses are really polarized. Frames are solidly built. Everything was well packaged and arrived in good condition. They fit my (slightly large) face well and block my view well, especially considering the side shields. The side shields fold down to fit easily in a breast pocket and won't block peripheral vision when worn. I bought them because I'm a nerd and have a thing for the steampunk aesthetic. I thought they were my "everyday glasses" but since they came in the mail I've been wearing them everywhere. You won't look out of place with a modern suit or a business casual style. I've gotten quite a few compliments from co-workers and they're usually the kind of people who would let me know if I looked like a dumb nerd. I will be buying another pair in a different colorway to complete my wardrobe.
