Wire is not stiff. he is soft Appears to be of good quality. It can be easily stripped with a wire stripper. The core is not hard. The core is twisted. However, the strands are tinned. I needed something more complex to make PCB flies. After stripping the wire, do not remove the stripped insulation. Instead, slowly roll it as you pull it out. This will twist the exposed strands. Then tin the twisted strands. Then you can just plug it into the holes on the board. A good product. The packaging was mediocre.
