The tag says these shirts are made in the USA (at least the shirts I ordered). However, they are not organic. The big problem is the size and the cut of the neck opening. American Apparel used to sell a regular V-neck and a deeper V-neck. They are deeper than in the photo. It's ugly and hardly usable as an undershirt. The V-neckline is deep, but the neck opening is not very wide, so there is a little showing under the collared shirt, under the shirt. Try to find a regular V-neck t-shirt as shown in the photo and avoid this one.
