UPDATE one year later: This machine started squeaking horribly and there was no way to contact the company's customer service, so this article is now obsolete. There are other similar machines that come with protection plans - this is something to consider as these things are not made by reputable companies that are easy to deal with if a problem arises. I bought this for my husband. and he loves it. Now he uses it 3 times a day. We're trying to find out if treating the reflex points on his legs would help him with problems like kidney stones. Obviously the problem with such machines is how durable they are. I can't confirm that yet, but if he dies prematurely I'll be sure to post an update.
