I own an expensive Calvin Klein peacoat, and obviously, this one was far cheaper. However, beyond the buttons, I have to say there isn't much difference. This coat fits very well and is cut correctly so that it lays well. It's definitely warm and comfortable. The material feels durable, and the coat looks great buttoned or unbuttoned. My only issue is that the buttons do seem a little cheap. I understand the stylistic choice of using metal buttons, but they do tend to "clank", and I'm concerned that they aren't sewn on well enough. However, overall I think the coat is quite sharp looking, and a good value.
