These socks were thicker, warmer and softer than I expected, which is a good thing. I used them with boots for cross country skiing and they worked well. This is an adorable jacket, especially for fall and winter. I ordered mine a little big out of fear it wouldn't fit and it's quite large on me, so do order to size.
