Bought this for one of my dogs for Halloween this year and it's super cute! He is a Pekingese/Chihuahua mix and weighs about 13.5 pounds with most of the weight coming off his chest and a size XL fits him perfectly. It has a fairly small head and thick mane, but if it were anywhere much larger, it would all be too small. I tried it on my 14.5 pound mixed breed who was longer but leaner and couldn't lift her mane over her head at all. Definitely tend to do it for smaller and more compact breeds. Just measure your dog and maybe order a size up if you're not sure. This is a great suit for a great price!
