good motor. Bought to replace a GE fan motor for an air handler in my heat pump. The Evergreen engine was designed to replace all GE X13 engine models. GE (General Electric) no longer makes engines. But these Genteq motors are actually GE designs as Regal-Beloit acquired GE Motors and renamed them Genteq. No matter what X13 model you have, you can replace it with Evergreen. You just need to buy one with the same horsepower as your original. Came with very good instructions. Seems to be working pretty well. I spent about $260 on the motor including shipping. Dealer ter air conditioning wanted almost a thousand for replacing the engine, with work. It only took me about half an hour to pull the fan out, remove the old motor and replace it with a Genteq, connect the old cables and put the whole unit back in place. I flipped the switch back on and voila, the fan came on immediately and I had a fever again! I saved over seven hundred dollars by making it myself.
