I think the best thing to say about this unit is that it is easy to fix in about 5-10 minutes. This cast assembly has a collar that fits over the fan motor shaft. The lower part of the collar is cut into 4 parts, which are crimped with a metal band. The block is installed by pressing FIRMLY onto the spindle so that the corrugated tape and plastic collar hold the spindle in place. There is no clamp to attach to the end of the spindle.
