Review on 🌀 NuTone 5901A000 Blower Wheel Assembly: Superior Efficiency and Performance by Dale Emmel

I used this to replace fan 100603000 in Nu-Tone 8663RP (Nu-Tone website link rejected). NuTone shows the part as 100603000 in the installation guide but does not show that it is available as a separate part. Showing only the complete motor assembly with fan as an available part, Nutone Motor (8663RP) Assembly No. 97017705, 1550 rpm; 1.2 amps, 115 volts. I ordered and installed a complete engine. I later saw this piece for only $6 with shipping. So I ordered it and put it on top of the motor I had removed. All dimensions are exactly the same. I reinstalled this rebuilt block to test it. worked fine The old fan wheel has internal wear everywhere where it attaches to the fan motor. This allowed the wheel to wobble and make all sorts of horrible noises you would expect at 1500 rpm. So try this first before spending money on the whole motor assembly if your motor is still fine. Don't forget to give your old engine a good clean if you have it.
