Review on 🌀 NuTone 5901A000 Blower Wheel Assembly: Superior Efficiency and Performance by Richard Lamptey

Works great and was very easy to install. The fit was nice and tight on the motor shaft, but all I had to do was press it down with my hands/fingertips (as other reviewers have mentioned, no hammer needed). It was delivered very quickly with a standard turnaround time of 2 days at Revain Prime. I have a NuTone QT110N-B bathroom extractor fan that has become very noisy. Of course, the center of the original plastic wheel was stripped and relocated to where it attached to the motor shaft. I hesitated to buy it because I wasn't sure if it would fit my model. Also, some reviewers gave bad reviews (too tight fit, had to score, only lasted a few months), but I don't think they really knew what they were doing to install this wheel. See below. One reviewer said it has a full round bore and a motor shaft in the shape of a "D" - one edge of the round motor shaft is flattened. When I first got the bike I thought it would be the same for me. *However* if you look closely, part of the "round" hole on the wheel is flat. It's subtle and you have to look closely - this flattened area is easier to spot from the inside of the wheel's "bowl". So when you install a new wheel on the motor shaft you need to line up that flat edge of the hole with the flat edge of the motor shaft. Again, it's subtle, but it's there. If it fits, you shouldn't have any problems. Other reviewers said they had to hammer it on the shaft or that the wheel only lasted a few months. I'm wondering if those reviewers noticed that slightly flat "D" shape of the compressor wheel and properly fitted it to the shaft? It would be better if the wheel came with instructions indicating that you need to level two flat surfaces. Maybe they trust us too much when it comes to home renovations, thinking we know more than we do. Hope this review helps.
