I was concerned about the size because I just ordered a coat from Zappos in my normal size (S) and had to return it because it was so tight you couldn't even wear it could comfortably wear a jersey underneath. The fit of this coat is perfect! Not too small and not too big. The weight is also ideal - it's medium sized and very warm. I live in the south but I have a cold temper. I find it ideal for temperatures of 20-30 degrees. The pockets are roomy enough to put my phone and other items, the length is great (almost covers my butt so there are no cold drafts between pants and shirt) and the lining is super soft! I also love the cuffs with thumb holes that keep the cold out between the sleeves and gloves! The hood is snug but not too tight and leaves room for a knitted hat underneath. All in all a great coat for the price! I bought a little olive and I love it!
