I chose this one after trying another cooler from the same company. I don't think it's their fault, but it never worked on the cooling section of my particular laptop. I choose it because it fully supports a 17.3 inch laptop which is perfect for me. For those of you who own an MSI GF75 Thin, this is the perfect combination. Cooling wise, I feel like most of these pads just don't push air through, which in my case is better as what they push through affects the entire undercarriage, not just the center or bottom etc lowered my pace but my laptop just gets really hot. I only had it for a day but the light and speed off button worked the same as the previous unit I had. The build quality is better than expected. I pulled out a 10 year old iHome cooling pad which compares horribly to this device. The stoppers that prevent the laptop from slipping are made of rubber, so it won't scare your investment. The USB cable isn't breaded, but it's too short and I have a spare. TLDR: For the money and aiming to cool a 17.3 inch gaming laptop (msi), it does the trick. Would buy again. Don't expect miracles, cooling pads usually lower temperatures by a few degrees Celsius at best.
