I really want to love this device as the hardware, case and foam inserts feel premium. One of the main reasons I bought this was for the motion/time lapse tracking. However, I've found the Android app required for setup to be pretty much useless that I'm considering returning it. The app is called ZY Play in the App Store and has hundreds of bad reviews with an average rating of 2 stars. The app couldn't see the Crane over Bluetooth even though I gave it all permissions and spent an hour restarting it before it found the gimbal. Pressing some buttons in the gimbal customization application results in unreadable Chinese messages being printed on the screen. Pressing other keys causes "404” (code "Not Found”) to appear on the screen and then disappears. I've found enough configuration to make some adjustments, but most of the tracking and replay features I've seen review videos about seem completely out of reach. Every time the app closes, it forgets the gimbal and has to go through product selection and Bluetooth discovery to find the faucet again. Such a shame for the software to ruin what should be a solid experience.
