Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhance Your Gaming Experience with Logitech G MX518 Gaming Mouse by Tommy Penn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Update: I love my Logitech MX518 now!

Update: I found a simple hack. if you like the original MX518 rubber pad on the side. Try a kitchen door bumper (cork seems better, it's softer) and your pinky will love you! ๐Ÿ’–When Logitech announced the re-release of the MX518. I was so excited having loved my original 518 for so many years! BUT even though Logitech claimed it was the exact same design. They didn't mention that they now use a slick plastic case (sticky palm) and removed the rubber pads on the sides (poor wee little pain from playing. Too many hours)! LOL Yes, the rubber pad might have come loose or become dirty, but it was definitely a big plus for long hours of gaming. I had to return it but I still love the MX518! I'm mostly unhappy with Logitech claiming it's the exact same mouse with a new internal engine! I agree with other reviewers here. Logitech really excelled with the Fury engine as it really is a lot smoother (than even the higher-end 903) and the feel of the button really gives you the edge. I don't really care about the lack of an LED, but I do miss my G502 Proteus a bit and it's easy to see the DPI LED. :(* So many companies/products are now using cheap plastic to save money or streamline production, but for $60. It's not that cheap and it's letting their loyal customers down!
